All equipment of German engineers recovered by U.S. forces as and when it progresses is collected, analyzed and identified. Gear with American standards, it is shown here for the instruction of the troops. All objects over two blankets were categorized.
We can see on the left, from top to bottom: Tellermines, bangalore torpedoes (USD), German grenades, booby traps for charge, firing mechanisms German.
In the central part: French anti-tank mine and grenades, detonators U.S.. Right: U.S. anti-tank mines, mine "Schu" German mine "S" German stick grenade Russian.

The man on the right with a vertical white on his helmet is a 1st LT (stated in the regulations that the American military rank insignia shall be affixed (painted) on the front of the helmet, however, the number of officers camouflaged combat this brand too visible to the enemy, or even total absence of "grade" on the front of the helmet). Given that the box is on the side, it must be part of the Signal Corps
