    Question on value of Bayonets

Am not a Bayonet or Knife collector but have acquired two. I am frequently asked if I want to sell them but have no idea as to their value. I will describe each. No photo capability. SA 1906 119323 perfect wooden handle, all blue, never sharpened. In a wooden scabbard, covered with rawhide and laced. no canvas cover. SA 1917 763468 perfect wooden handle, all blue, never sharpened. In a canvas scabbard (dirty) with leather tip. Each is marked US with ord. bomb above SN. Both in excellent condition and have never been used to open cans or drive tent pegs. Thanks for any info. in advance.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Look on EBAY and compare your blade with ones selling best way to get a priice somemonths ago 1905's were fetching huge prices when mint and early, that phase dissapeared i hink with prices coming back down a bit when the rifle collectors stopped trying to get mint items to hang off the end of their rifles. Watch EBAY and search on comleted sales and you will get an idea
