Hello there. I am new to the board. I traded for a Winchester 1917 a few months back. Whoever owned it before removed the front and rear sights and drilled it for a scope. I plan on using it as a hunting rifle so a scope is just fine for me. However, it would still be cool to have the iron sights back on it. First of all, is there any chance of putting the stock sights back on it? And if I were able to, would I be able to have a scope on at the same time? I'm on of those guys who like back-up plans so if I'm out hunting and ruin my scope, it would be nice to remove the scope and go iron sights. Thanks in advance for any input.
