    Johnson 41 Question

Have a chap telling me he has a Johnson 41 in 06. It's a semi with rotary mag feed. I haven't seen the gun - just some rather dark pics. Any info on such a piece greatly appreciated. Also; assuming it in fair to good condition; could someone give me a price spread.

If it's in complete working condition, bare minimum $1000. Price goes up quickly for better condition. $1500-1800 for a VG example.

Most Johnsons in Canadaicon were from a lot sold by International Firearms (Century Arms), back in the early 70's. They came out of Indonesia and were ROUGH !!!
Most were missing parts, the wood was CACA and bores were like a gopher hole. Sight elevator was marked M for meters. Never saw one complete from Century, all missing some small part. They were in 30-06. A small lot also came into Canada in 7mm from Venezuela, but they went south of the border and I think only one or two got spirited out of the lot while in Canada. I'd check the condition before I made a blind offer on a Johnson..........

Thanks for the info AND the heads up. May explain the dark pics. Think I'll tell him you drive it to me and I'll have a look.
