    Jungle carbine price

    local funshop has a jungle carbine that i know nothing about,but like the look,s has matching numbers and by a friend looks to be correct.medal about 85 per cent ,stock about 90 per cent.bore looks good on the down side has century arms import marks. 400.00 dollars plus tax. fair price or not.

    Firts off be sure it's a real no.5, there's a lot of no.4's out there that have been cut down to look like a no.5. Price seems fair enough in the condition you describe. At the last gun show I attended I saw several cut down no.4's with $500 price tags.

    Definitely make sure it's a real No 5. You can check by looking at the receiver for lightening cuts. Hollowed out bolt is also a good sign, also make sure 'No 5' is electropencilled into the receiver. I just picked up a pretty darn decent one today for $250, but I think the guy really needed money, hence the good deal. These are great little rifles.
