    This Winchester Stock Needed Some Help

    Thought I would share some work I've been doing this winter for some forum members.
    This Win stock had a rough life and needed some refurbishing to make it useable.
    Looks like it was used to block a bayonet or sword on the left side.
    Also had a bad crack in the bottom, a big chip out of the left rail, and the common recoil plate crack.
    Forth and fifth picks show before and after cleaning. You have to do that to assess all the damage.
    Now it's ready to go back into service.....Frank
