I got one of the Strippedd receiver AIM had a Criterion Barrel from the CMPicon a Minnelli repro stock from Brownells and the rest of the bits and bobs from Numrich, liberty Tree Collectors and Sarco (issues with some from Sarco) and after a few bumps in the road finally got it together. That looks really nice. They are great shooting rifles. Good luck.

Hey! You've got my rifle! Actually, not really, but I just went throught the same process using a receiver from Old Western Scrounger and a 5-44 barrel I picked up. I too used a Minelli stock and parts from a variety of sources to assemble what has turned out to be a nice shooter. For all intents and purposes it could be a twin to your rifle.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.

I went a little different route. Bought a Remington
Gibbs receiver and a national ordinance 03. Swapped out the nat. Ord. Receiver for the Remington and had an all Remington shooter in a nice scant stock. The nat. Ord. Also had a mirror 5/44 barrel.
