A small favour please guys.
What would this sell for in US dollars ? A guy wants to buy it off me but I have no idea of value. Oval cut, Hi Wood, Sanded, but I can see a faint RMC in slingwell and a faint RMC in a vertical box ahead of a faint cartouch. Handguard doesn't match if I have it right, four rivet with no RMC or other markings underneath. The camera flash makes it look "brighter" than it actually is, it's one of those darker stocks. thanks, Mike.

Mikey, ballpark figure, $100.00 for the stock, $20.00 for the but plate, $35.00 for the recoil plate if it stamped rock-ola and $15.00 for the handguard. Some may pay more, but thats a start, HTH.....Frank

I would say that the highwood pushes it a bit over $200US, but you have to deduct for the sanding. Add back the handguard ($20US) and I would go $200US especially if you are throwing in the metal with a name-brand recoil plate. Again, the stock looks very clean and is a highwood RMC.

Between 175 and 250 depending on the time of day and star alignment.

Thankyou. I'd like to help this guy as he has #254503. 2/43 bbl. I have #242951. Pretty close for a small place like this !. The big news of the day is that I just came across a 6.6 to 7.2 handstamped 2. The first Carbine I have ever seen that looks like it has never been used. Will try and find out more. Mike.

Oh, and move to a country where I can buy it from you!

Mike, would love to see that unused M2. Try to get some pictures. I have #262xxx, 3-43 bbl. That stock will fit, but doesn't your friend need an Inland oval cut high wood? Have a good day.....Frank

Frank, yes he does, but he's not a "dedicted colletor" as we would say. He hasn't got the disease. His stock has been "sporterised" ( I suspect with one of those perforated handguards too) and he is anxious to get it at least looking WW2ish !!!. I'm just trying to help him really and I want to see what he has. I have explained the re-building/repair process to him. He might do a swap and I do have the right Inland stock. Chances of me finding a Rock to go in the one pic'd are zilch. More on that later. The other subject. I'm moving house at the moment so had to take the safe off the concrete. Took my Carbines to a well respected Gun Shop owner for safe keeping while I arrange this, gotta do this to keep the Police happy, and he was somewhat astounded. He said, "I've only got one, I'll show you". And he did, showed me the handstamp. He's a vet of Malaya so I have arranged with him to go back and have a closer look. Would be good info for the Club, so am trying to earn his trust. Back soon. Mike.

Gosh Mike, now you got our attention. That stock will be a better one for him, for sure. Tell us about the Rock situation over there, there are stocks but no rifles to go in them? The Police situation?. Understand about the M2 and building trust with the owner. looking forward to more on that subject. Have a good day.....Frank
