No.4 Mk 1 Lacking Stamps. Need help.

I need help trying to identify where this rifle came from. It's a No.4 Mk 1 but the only marks on it are: 1943 stamped on left side of the butt socket and serial number on the receiver AA006XX. it has a 5 groove left hand twist barrel. It also has a small N stamped on the right side of butt socket. No information is stamped on the barrel except for a few small stamps of a crown. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Well, some more information would be helpful and perhaps some pics...

Here's a link that will help you help us, so we can help you better.

What can you tell me about my rifle? (click here)

Here's a site provided by Amatikuluicon with some good information to bookmark for the future.

Lee Enfield Rifle Markings (click here)

"AA006XX" .... using links on Amatikulu's page, I think it may have been made at ROF Fazakerley.

    Hope this helps somewhat...

    Regards.

Thanks. Those links helped. From what i can tell its from ROF Fazakerley. The stampings on the Barrel are Enfield Royal Small Arms Factory Inspection marks. And it belonged to the South Lancashire Regiment. It doesn't have any other country stamps. And there are a few other markings / stamps I cant identify. The barrel has a B and 1 stamped into the knox form on top. on the right side of the barrel, on the knox form, is 7 stamped into it. Can someone help with these markings?
