You have Israeli 7.92mm with the * 56 date, the 7.35mm is for the Carcano M1938 carbine and the rest you have identified. Years ago the Israeli was re-forumed to 7,62x51mm (I have some examples) and the 7,35mm carcano was used for 7.62x39mm Russian after reforming. Nothing really rare but all interesting, the 7.35mm Carcano is difficult to find now.

I have never seen or heard of examples of this with Israeli ammo. Please post pics of the rounds and box.

Smellie, was the U.S. manufactured 6.5 Carcano ammunition you speak of made by Winchester? If so not all of it got reformed to 7.62x39.
