1941 Izhevsk Finnish capture Mosin, non-refurb
Howdy folks, I just purchased an Izhevsk manufactured, 1941 Mosin-Nagant 91/30, captured during the Continuation war between the USSR and Finland. The rifle has not been refurbished or modified in any way since manufacture except for the bolt (I think the stock might be spliced, though I'm not certain) So far this is the only non-refurb I've seen here, I'm extremely glad I came across it. You've probably seen that I already own a refurbed 91/30 (1932, Tula)in a post-war stock, but I couldn't resist acquiring an unaltered beauty, straight from service in the war. Here are some pics:

Not bad. Pretty typical of a Finn Captured M91/30. Your rifle has modern commercial German proof marks. Stock doesn't look spliced in usual Finn manner beneath the rear sight.
