    Mod 70 stock ID

Gents, here are pics of the stock that came with my Win mod 70 a few years ago. Is this anything factory or is it a nice aftermarket or what? BTW, it has some of the nicest hand checkering I've seen. TIA, Steve

It is some kind of custom aftermarket

The buttplate is standard Winchester as found on M70 s and M71 s etc.

It is a beautifully executed stock but I am not into rollover combs nor white line spacers like that. I think it could be modified to my tastes and still preserve the overall quality. In my personal view, it would improve the looks of the stock immensely.
