CIA Issue Walther PPK with Silencer
All,
I have a book that shows some weapons and gadgets used by the CIA.
In the book they have a Walther PPK with a neat two-chambered silencer.
Anyone familiar with this system? Is anything similar made today?
Google doesn't help much. I'll have to get a scan of the book for show-and-tell.

I'd like to see that. I've seen my share of cans but a two chambered one... PPK is one of the ones that can be made to work easily with a suppressor.

@rcathey: I'd like to see more of the PPK with silencer.

The book title is "CIA Special Weapons and Equipment: Spy Devices of the Cold War." It is excellent and worth every cent of the $10 or so it cost me on eBay. Highly recommended.
I was able to get a very good scan of the book. Worked better than I expected!
You can see it even has the FSN for this package. That was 1005-H00-0290
The PPK is the only gun I own that doesn't fit into my US Military theme. I obtained it to fulfill my James Bond fantasy (I've read ALL of the novels). Slapping a CIA-style silencer on it would be pretty badass.

I see now, the bottom cylinder is likely an expansion chamber and the top has the baffles...

Interesting.
Ever seen one of this two-tiered design?

There are a few drawings of such for SMG...Thompson I think it is...perhaps rifle... Let me look here and see if I can come up with something.
