Now I have to start over.
And here I thought my choice of Crayon color was perfect.......... I never could color between the lines.
Thx Guys, I'm going with a Type II per the CC Datasheet. First two are both with the serrations, this one is long tab, thick rail so it must be the CC Data's Type II.

Charlie,
In "War Baby" page 304 bottom picture shows a picture of the plain long faced mag catch.
Page 307 has drawings and calls it a "Type A variation 2"
The CC data sheet shows it as number 2.
Room for confusion?

Thx Jim,
After I looked closer at the CC Data Sheet I could see that :
#1 Mag catch has serrations, thick rail and long tab/face
#1A Mag catch has serrations and thick rail, but has the short tab/face
#2 No serrations , has thick rail and long tab/face
#3 Plain short tab/face and still has the thick rail
#4 The M stamped short tab/face with the thinner rail
Riesch vs CC Data Sheet
Mag Catch:
Type I= CC Type 1
Type IA = CC Type 2
Type II= CC Type 1A
Type IIA= CC Type 3
Type III= CC Type 4
Then Riesch goes on to show the M marked catch with the short face/tab and thin rail.
CC Data Sheet shows as #4 what I believe is the same per Riesch- A short faced/tab, thin railed catch.
But the CC data sheet shows a #4A catch with I think is a Serif M, and should also be short face/tab and thin rail.
CC data sheet then lists the Underlined M as #5, which has the short face/tab and the extended arm support for the 30rd mags.
That's enough for me..... I have a Type 2 catch per the data sheet and happy about moving on.
Thx,
