I left a message on GunBoards indicating that I was looking for you and one of the readers indicated that I could find you here. I am glad that they did, this looks like a very interesting site.
I won' t bother repeating the message here as not being familiar with this site, I am not sure of the type of information that is passed around here. My post was in the Military handgun section of the forum and involves a 1924 Norwegian 1914 with British proof marks that I have. The serial number is 50.
Tom D suggested that I look you up as you might be able to read Norwegian. I am also looking at getting a factory letter for this if they are still available.

I don't speak Norwegian... heck, I can barely handle English ..
Anyway, I don't think I can personally help you, but we have many experts and published authors here, who may be able to.
It would help if you could post some pics of the rifle with the markings you're trying to identify. If you are unable to figure out how to do that, then email them to me at badger@milsurps.com and I'll re-size them for you and put them in this thread on your behalf.
