Anyone know what the standard finish on the Polish m44 rifles is? Doesn't seem to be BLOicon on the beech. Are they just left in the raw?

Mine appears to have an oil finish. It came out of the crate that way.

I thought it was an oil, but doesn't seem like BLOicon.

Mine has extremely light oil finish of some description....seems to be just enough to realize that it's not 'unfinished' wood.
