Shawnee helicopters in back? I had the chance to do mockup work in those way back, not live though. I think they were gone by then.

Yep. Piasecki H-21, designed for Arctic operations, proved poor for jungle work. The difference between a Standard Day and ambient temp and humidity in Vietnam meant it could only carry half its designed payload. It's unprotected control cables and fuel lines proved vulnerable.
