    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.  Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.     I corrected my mistake, it was picture #3, the problems I still encounter with the new service is that everything doesn't always load. And yes Snafu, please keep putting interesting pictures like that in your posts, I always enjoy them, it's like "Where's Waldo" or "I Spy With My Little Eye", great photos as always.

    And I'm thinking Jim was right, it's on the back deck.

    Question on the burial, I only count 6 rifleman. Isn't a 21 gun salute right (3x7)? All I can find refers to 3 volleys. Sorry to say that bit bit of knowledge escaped me during my 22 yrs of USN.
