    1903 a3

Just purchased a very nice 1903 A3 off GB. Remington made SN 35864xx, with 3-43 barrel with Flaming Bomb. Somewhere I read that this serial number would place the manufacture date around April of 43, in which case, the barrel might be the original. The site listed in the sticky section of this forum says late 42. Help! And before you ask, I don't have it in my paws yet, so no pictures to post. Will do so when I have it in hand.

Your information is correct - the information provided by the sticky is not. I'll contact the webmaster about it.

It was the oldguns.net site that gave the early dates. I'm relying on the ones provided on the Remington page.
