    A very Ross Christmas!

Well my soon to be wife really outdid herself thanks to the help of a great fellow on CGN. There was a very decent Ross MkII 3* waiting under the tree fro me this morning. Not perfect, but I'm very excited about it. My first full stocked Ross.

Someone had cut the butt about an inch, maybe more, and sanded it quite a lot. I also replaced the bolt, a very worn DP marked unit that had some heavy wear points. Then stole a front sight hood from another rifle I am restoring until I can find another replacement. I now need two of them, if anyone has a golden hens egg laying around...

She also bought me a very nice receiver mounted target sight to go with it. No idea what this sight was called, but I like it!

Not yet AGB. This weekend will be a huge step forward as I just bought a stock duplicator. Few more weeks there should be some progress

I thought you were going to do a forearm splice? I have one for the 1905 I. bought some years ago. If you want to duplicate it, let me know. What about handguards? AGB-1

Yes I am still going to do the forearm splice, but the duplicator will definitely help. I would really appreciate that AGB! I'm going to take my time in setting it up and do some practice runs on some cheap lumber and a few other odds and ends in the next bit and we will see how it goes from there.
