A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I knew that what I had in No36MkI's were CDN,Suffefrican and Brit but it was nice to confirm them by markings.

Couldn't find much on what I know to be a Portuguese M962 (didn't have the gonads to even THINK about trying to deactivate a M970 WP)

My Chinese "stick" has long since lost it's wax coating and lot number on the wooden handle.Now if only someone would come out with something to ID various fuses and switches and traps etc I would be well pleased.JR
