    Talking MP marked Mosin Nagant

I just picked up my third 1933 Tula 91/30, one being a retired sniper rig, PE style, the second being a "41" marked what I believe to be a Finnishicon rig but there is no SA in a box, now today I got #3 and its a real nice one with an MP neatly stamped below the serial number. I guess my first question would be does anybody know what the MP may mean or for that matter have any of you fellows seen the 41 without the SA in a box? Many thanks-SDH

It's not uncommon to find Finns without the SA marking. Not sure on the MP...?

Thanks Claven2, In your opinion the 41 is Finnishicon? I haven't seen it on any other's marked quite like that. I have a whole bunch of Finn re-builds with the boxer SA and the 41, but, this is the first one where I've seen just the 41 and haven't been comfortable putting it in the Finnish section, many thanks-SDH

IMHO, a 41 marked 91/30 (ie, marked 41, not 1941) is a Finnishicon capture, yes.
