Odd Redfield sight
I recently ran across this Redfield sight paired with a Weaver K3 in a lot at an on-line auction. The pic isn't the greatest, but has anyone seen a Redfield sight like this before? Looks like a Redfield 70 with some sort of base built on that replaces a rifle or shotgun's side plate

M1917 or Enfield No.4 ???
The very high position of the rear hole, and its small diameter, suggests the location of the backsight axis on an Enfield No.4 or M1917. Try matching it up to one or both of these two rifles. The front hole might match with the position of the ejector screw on the Enfield. As for the M1917, that would mean drilling.
If you do not have these rifles, simply post the distance between the holes and their diameters, and I will check on my examples.

It's a Redfield Trophy sight for an Enfield.
