need help identifying a vz.24 i have
i have a vz 24 i have got in some guntrading and cant find much info about its history and worth. any help would be appreciated. it has cs.zbrojovka akc.spol.v brne on the left side of the reciever as well as vz.24 under that. it also has a 681 on the same side. it is in a 30/06 caliber. the only thing i can find is an article that says this gun usually has a vz.33 on it and the writer said he has only ever seen one with the vz.24 on it. thanks for any help.

thanks for the info. the "this gun" is refering to the way the lettering is on the gun. the writer says this type of marking is found on non military guns. police guns but also says that the police guns were vz33 not vz24. he then stated that he had only once seen a gun with the spelling like it is with the vz24 on it. thanks again

Thanks for explaning what the original writer meant. Indirectly, it confirms that this is a commercial hunting rifle.

This rifle certainly looks like a converted military rifle to me. Weaver sight bases and cheaply turned down bolt handle, Bushnell scope(?). The CZ factory made finely crafted commerical. This appears to be a converted military rifle. They do not sell for much money in the US.
