Swiss m96/m38
I'm wanting a manual with the disk rear sight also mine has been tapped for a scope on top not like the m41 I don't know how to work the rear sight I want to shoot it in CMP matches please help

I think you are referring to the SWEDISH M-96. Try the Mauser thread for more info on your M-96.

Amazing how common mixing these two nations rifles is. Definitely Swedish. You may find it yourself once you look it up by the correct country.
In any case, what you are supposed to do is sight the rifle in at a known distance. Once sighted in, you loosen the screw in the center of the wheel and turn it until the number lines up with the range you are sighted in at. Then re-tighten the screw. Should be sighted in at all distances so long as the correct ammunition is being used.

96 and 38? Sounds sort of Swedish! Both are great arms. The Swedish 6.5x55mm cartridge rocks!
