    Need No. 32 scope # 28590

Anyone out there have this scope? It's one of the last Mk IIIs made in 1945.
I have a pristine MKIII to trade. Also looking for No. 4T rifle s/n V38763.
    Thank you for checking in.

FYI the scope you are looking for is most likely 1946 dated as my late Mk III, s/n 28594 is. From scope's I have seen 28522 is 1945 dated so the "new year" started sometime between the two.

    28522

As the proud owner of No.32 MkIII s/n 28522 I concur that it is dated 1945. Nice scope that has all original finish and is bloomed and waterproofed. I'm looking for REL MkIII s/n 155-C

Thanks, Lance. I suspected it could be a '46 date but wasn't sure. The closest MkIII I have to compare it to is #28224, which is a '45. Interestingly, the wood chest this came with is dated 1946.

    Serial numbers

In the thread regarding telescope 28224, several telescopes were mentioned. So here goes:
28224. No trace in my records
28590. No trace but have 28599
    28594. No trace
28522. No trace but have worked on 28521 and 28523
28627. Rebuilt by Base Workshops Instrument Shop, 3/05

Now to L39's. If you have L39A1's A-846 or A-818, then I have the original bolts if anyone needs them.
