The following series of three articles are being re-published with the kind permission and consent of MILSURPS.COM member, Nigel. He originally wrote these articles about WW1 British sniper rifles in a UK magazine last year, which were published over a four month period covering February 2008 to April 2008. The publisher, Target Sports magazine, has given him permission to scan the articles and post them independently.

Note: The wrong caption was used in the March issue. The picture on the 2nd page (page 58) bottom left should have read: "Rare experimental or possible Bartle overhead mounts for an Aldis No.4." The caption they used described the P14(T) which should have been used on the bottom right hand picture. They were in the order of the PPCo, Aldis and ended with the Winchester.
