    H&K G 11 with caseless bullet

Anyone remember the G 11 ? photo shows me with a G 11 rifle in 1991, there is a 30 round magazine on each side of the barrel and one on top which feeds the mechanism the caseless cartridges (photo show H&K caseless next to 45 ACP). The rifle is as heavy as the M1icon rifle !Attachment 52923Attachment 52922

I do. A friend of mine was using one in Germanyicon in about 1976 on the SA trials. He was on the range one Sunday morning with a Scottish Staff Sgt and they were going to trial this rifle for accuracy. Friend loaded it with a full mag which he said held lots (90)? He went prone and squeezed of two or three and the rifle went auto...it pushed him around a bit and finally emptied...

End of that trial, return weapon to stores...I always wanted to find a cartridge though. For my collection.
    Regards, Jim

They do turn up on e-Gun once in a while. Interesting news shortly after Germanyicon re-unified, they found a large stock of G-11s in an East German warehouse on the Baltic run by a well known East German arms dealer.

The rounds are fairly common on the collector market. I think I have a dummy/inert example in my table stock. Email or PM if you're interested.

Thanks Jonnyc, I'm in Canadaicon and I don't think we can enable that. I'll look around here I guess.
