Attachment 92778'Churchill' - That appears to be part of an early model 52 Winchester (target .22) rear sight.

That’s exactly what that is. I have the same set on my Winchester 52 Pre-A. I think mine was made in 1927? Smallest aperture I’ve ever seen on mine. They originally wanted to sell the 52 to the military as a 1903 trainer which is why the sights are so similar. Here is a picture of mine. Complete with second bizarre sling swivel. Sorry the picture of the sights isn’t great. It’s the only one I had on my phone. But you can see them tucked under the Unertl.
