Enfield revolver parts source?
I have an Enfield MK. VI revolver in 455 cal. The barrel latch spring snapped the last time I shot it, and I've been trying to find aoriginal style replacement. Does anyone know where I could purchase one? Numrich has a repro replacement that will work, but I really would prefer an original military one. I believe the spring for a Webley revolver is interchangable with the Enfield, but I'm not sure. I'm located in California, U.S.A.

If you are asking whether a Webley No1Mk6 barrel catch spring is the same as an Enfield No1 Mk6 barrel latch spring. then the answer is yes. BUT, all parts were hand fitted to suit, even among the same manufacturers. In those days Armourers weren't 'change parts merchants'. In fact, the name 'change parts merchants' hadn't even been invented then!!!!!

Sadly, the supply of originals in the USA has dried up considerably. Try APEX Gun Parts or BRP Guns. You can get a replacement from Wolff Springs that will work fine although you may want to grind it a bit to duplicate the original contour. This can be done carefully without creating enough heat to damage the temper.
