No 4 Mk III bedding question.

I have a No 4 MkIII that I am currently refinishing the stock. This really isn't a rifle that I am keeping for collectors value. Its just a project gun for fun shooting.

Heres my question. Is it possable to bed this rifle? If so how exactly would it be done and what would I do with the top hand guards?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

May suggest a quick check on what you have. You can choose from No4. Mk.1, Mk.2, Mk. 1/2 and Mk. 1/3 or a No.1 (SMLE) Mk.III.

In Peter Laidlericon's archived posts, in a sticky in this forum there are detailed instructions, for bedding from new and patching: Index of Peter Laidler's on-line series of articles.......
My attempt at this, including the pitfalls, are shown in this thread: No4 Mk1 T Rebuild
It is not easy to get right.
