Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine,i know
first i know i am new to forum and ask a lot of questions,so i will make this quick a man i know offered to trade a new in the box auto-ordnance carbine for a rifle i did not have much in,the only problem is bho will not hold good,best way to dill hold deeper.the stock mag fits loose but no problems with feeding ww2 mags,and korean 15,30 rds fit tight but shoot great. came with fip sight,that i liked better then i thought .will the adg. kensight fit this gun.and came with a m2 .mag catch .gun was good and tight in stock..after reading all reviews some not all that great, like the gun better then i thought.i have drill press,or would be safe to tap hole deeper to hold bolt open,thank you.

Welcome to carbines! The bolt catch is not a terrible problem, I have seen some originals with the same problem. A USGI type II or Type III adjustable rear sight MIGHT fit, but may not. Kahr/Auto Ordnance did not make the carbine totally mil-spec. Some parts interchange, and I have heard some don't. They use Green Mountain barrels, so they have potential (theoretically, at least) for decent accuracy. I have handled some that were nice little weapons, and some that weren't because of poor quality control. If yours is as good as you say, you re good to go, and it should serve you well. I have heard that they have improved the QC proplem recently, in response to some bad press. I hope so.
