This occurs in Philadelphia because 90% or more of the firearms arrests are thrown out of Pa. common pleas courts because of liberal judges.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Bingo! An inept local system that begs for Federal intervention.
I'm glad to see some are at least looking ahead when it comes to such matters.

I view the Federal Government as the proverbial "nose of the camel" in such matters. It was civil rights violations. Now it's intra-state firearms and robbery offenses. Things we are all happy to finally see being prosecuted. However where does it end?
How many court cases will it take to "prove the need" for a National Firearms Owners ID similar to the Illinois FOID?

Hypothetically speaking if a State were on financial hard times and forced to cut back on State Troopers, could they also ask for Federal enforcement concerning routine Interstate Highway traffic violations?
How long before we will be forced to have a National DL or ID card once the "need" is proven?

I still contend we need to keep a watchful eye on how far such things are allowed to continue. There is a grey area that needs to be carefully monitored and this Philly case is in that grey area AFAIC. That's why I won't sing praises.

Gentleman using a firearm in commission of a felony is a federal charge with a mandatory sentence of 10 years if convicted. The Robbery in it's self was a local charge unless it was a bank or post office ect.
Even though what JB says may seem a bit radical to some to tohers maybe it's just a word to the wise. Waco was based on a child molestation charge which is NOT a federal charge. But because someone rumored that they had .50 cal. weapons the Clinton/Reno gestapo sent in federal agencies without proof. Over 130 people died. Were they innocents? Who knows. what is a fact is they did not receive due process of the law. The law founded on the principal of the people for the people by the people. NOT for the people by the government. Do we need to watch our elected officials {let's change officials to representatives}? Yes we do! Closely! And get rid of those that have their own agendas. Not to mention any names but the initials Feinstein, Boxer, Pelosi, Reed, Kennedy, Shumar,Clinton, come to mind {aren't you glad I didn't mention names}. Remember that evil flourishes when good men do nothing.

    Rebellion becomes duty
