A memorial Day tribute to one of my uncles.

I found this document among my fathers papers. This is the mustering out pay for one of his brothers from the Spanish-American War. Another of his brothers was gassed in Franceicon with the Marines.

My Grandfather and his brother fought with Terry's Texas Rangers in The War of Northern Agression...

I lost three of my uncles on my mothers side in WW II. One at Saipan in the Navy, another at Iwo Jima with the Marines, and one in Italyicon with the 36Th Division. My family has a long history of military service that I can document back to the Texas War of Independence from Mexico in 1836... Bless them all!!!
