Home after shoulder sugery and bored. These are from one safe. I know they look better with the mags in, but again only one hand and it was hard enough getting them out of the cases.

Seriously, I hope you recover fully and hope to see you one of these days.

I played softball in Hayward on the 16 th & 17th, but was too beat in the heat to even stop and see my father on my way home.

I got tired after the first safe. I still had to put them back in the ziper cases and load them back into the safe.

Hayward, the best burgers in the Bay Area are at Val's in Hayward. I drive 106miles round trip once a month for my 1lb Pappa Burger, Fries that will feed 2 or 3 easy, and Vanilla Shake in the metal can (3 glasses worth). Been going there since 1959.

Baseball is out for me. Rotator cuff torn in both directions. Just trying to get everything fixed before I retire next year. No sense wasting my retirement recovering. I get paid time off now, so I'm taking advantage of it.

One of your trips we will get together.

I had half a dozen carbines in those cases and they caused the end of the muzzle and buttplate to rust on some. Here in Savannah the high humidity and salt in the air is just bad. I live on the marsh near the coast. Slings will cause oilers to rust. I count carbines like eggs so you almost have three. hahaha.

I live inland, no humidity. I take them out once a month or so and check them out, dehumidifier in the safe. Reason for the cases is I can get more in the safe without scratches.

Relo to Arizona. Here the humidity in my safes hovers at 32% with no dehumidification.

Beautiful group of carbines Jim.
Sorry about your surgery, but hope that means you'll be able to play with all your toys when you recover. I'm looking at thumb re-construction on both hands due to osteoarthritis, and can't even field strip mine right now. I share your frustration.
You really need to check out Mike's collection one day!
