Cheers Andy, impossible things to find, were on earth did all the surviving kits go ? Hundreds of L12A1 kits must have been in the system when the L1A1 was withdrawn in the 90's

Someone at Donnigton ended up bending them over his knee and throwing them in the bin perhaps.... Or made surplus and exported??

As far as I remember all the parts of the kit were available as spare parts ( part from the wooden box!!!!!!).. So its not just the kits that are missing its all the parts.
I have not seen any parts available ever.... Only the odd magazine

Kevin.......that's just cruel, don't send gun porn this time in the morning it does my blood pressure no good at all. If its OK with you I might just print off your picture and but it in my Newsagents window, in the "wanted" section ... Just as much chance of getting one that way it seems!

One day I will get a kit!!

Yours looks very nice Kevin, does it shoot well?

When you get the chance, pop it in a rifle and have a go Kevin, very interested to hear it goes. I can only assume that because live L1A1's/Fals were banned from public ownership in the UKicon for so long there was no market for them and they were all exported or destroyed.
