A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. New member here. Have several milsurps & thinking about adding a Mosin Nagant for a truck rifle while they're still cheap. Have checked out this forum before for input, always helpful.

    Thumbs up Newbie

I'm a long time member of Gunboards.com, and have been collecting milsurps for a few years now. I like em all, so no real focus on one Country. I do however favor U.S. Military Firearms and goodies. It's nice to have another site to look for that special something I just can't live without.

    BSA No1. No Military Markings

Hi Everyone, I've enrolled on the site to try and find out about the SMLE I have just bought. It has BSA & Co on right side of socket, no model ID Mkiii or mk111**, or any military markings ect. It looks like a Mk111, but with some Mk111* fitting, ie Mag cut off, No volley sight. Superb condition. Serial No 59679, no letter prefix or suffix. Some of the guys at the club say it was made for export to either Hong Kong or Bahrain.
I would like to find out more about it, especially date of manufacture ect.
If anyone has any info, I would be most greatful.

    Smile Hi everybody

Hi everybody, I just started collecting a couple of years ago. Any advice would be helpful. And, I plan on getting my C&R when I turn 21. April seems like a long way away.

    Hello

Greatiings, I am a brand new member. I reciently purchased an L1A1 rifle, and a set of older web gear for it. I have been looking for 30 round magazines to fit the web gear, and have been told that some of the Bren gun mags will work. Does anyone have any information about which ones will work in the inch pattern rifles?
