Good day, New here but not new to the range.I knew if I looked hard enough I would find the right forum.I have a comlpete 1911schmidt-rubin rifle, and a 1871/84 mauser that spoke for the first time in probably decades just today.
I also have a carcano carbine that BUBBA got a hold of,sad, and a MAS 36 in need of a new set of wood.
    Thanks much
    Dan

    new kid

OK so I'm a kid with LOTS of experience but I AM new here
I only have the one rifle but I'm real interested in finding info on it.
It is stamped 1905 and there is a crossed out serial# on the (barrel?)
1145 J is crossed out and ER 4785 is stamped above it.
UH OH!! am I supposed to do this here ?

    Thumbs up

Newcomer to forum. See lots of interest in Enfields. Just finished restoring(didn't need much, it was never issued) a #4 Mark 1* Longbranch 1950 and would like to find a military scope. I believe this is a sniper version and would like to keep it fully military.

First post so hi to everyone. Looking for good info (web articles, books) to become familiar with Canadianicon war-era firearms mostly, although there certainly are a lot of interesting guns out there from other countries too. Never been in the service though family background has had one RCAF and one NWMP.
