Hello all. I'm a long time collector and hobbiest. 30+ years experience. Former ACW and WW2 reenactor and armorer. I still work on reenactor weapons and am well versed in most everything from matchlocks to MG-42's. I blank-adapt weapons and custom load blank ammunition. I ran across this site while searching for an extractor for a 1912 Steyr-Hahn that is being blanked. Looks like a fun site.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hi everybody! looks like I'm the last noob on the scene right now..
I'm from Italyicon, I'm a student in mechanical engineering and I've always been fascinated by technical aspect of military vehicles and weapons.
I found the forum while searching for Bren lmg blueprints... Commercial airsoft replicas are waaaaay too expensive, so I would really like to see what it would mean to try and build a softair replica.
I'm sure it will be a really nice time on the forum!

    Newbie to the Milsurps community

I've cruised the site a bit and decided it time to sign up, as I have the occasional question that research can't answer. I have a couple of unique Mausers, a sportered P-17, CAR-15 SP1, K-98, and an FN commercial sporter. The unique ones are a new unfired MAS 45A still in partial cosmolineicon gauze, and a DSM34 which was used by the Hitler Youth in the city of Jena, State of Thuringen, and is so stamped on the stock. I'm in need of a couple of parts for the 34 which I'll be putting out queries for soon along with pictures.
A short bio; late 60's, retired but still hunt and fish when I can, build the occasional piece of furniture, have my private pilots license and fly SEL, and love to tinker on just about anything that moves.

Don't hesitate to correct me if it is too far from comprehension.
Thank verry you much for your welcome.
Only if you will forgive our near total ignorance of your beautiful language. I tried to find Coursac on my Michelin map, but it was not listed. I've visited Paris several times and taken holidays in the Perigord Noir around Beynac and Sarlat. Beautiful area and wonderful food.

New member. I've been collecting/shooting military firearms for over 30 years. Enjoy shooting in DCM Highpower Rifle Matches. Just bought a Remington 1903A3 for the bolt action matches. Waiting on it's arrival.

    Hello from Ohio

    Hello all,

I just registered on Milsurps this week. I recently bought a CMPicon Garandicon and it seems like no matter what I google, I end up back at this forum, excellent information and sooo much to learn.

    Thanks,
    Mike G
