    New guy on the block

Thought I must join this most informative site. Got hooked into collecting by my dad around 55 years ago with a Model 77 Win. that he bought at the barber shop. Really like classic bolt guns and military and odd guns and calibers.

    Hello from Texas

I wanted to say hello. I am here in Texas. I have been interested in firearms since I was around 8 years old. I got my first gun a .22 single shot Winchester when I was 10yoa. I did a lot of hunting with it back then too. But over the years I accumulated a assortment of firearms so I wound up with a collection of sorts too. Anyway I thought I would join this forum as it has a lot of useful information and maybe I will be able to add a tiny bit to the forum too.

Hi I've been a member a long time but this is my first post. I've been collecting mil surp guns for more than 30 years. I mostly collect WWII weapons from all sides but have a lot of WWI weapons also mostly the American ones. I just completed my S&W Victory modles with a US Navy that is in 60+ condition and got it for a song (315.00) And he set the price so now it's time to finish my WWII 1911 A1 collection )don't have a nice Remington Rand yet) have 1 but it is only in about 10% and someone took heavy steal wool to it so I cleaned it up and use it as a shooter as it is quite accurate. My WWI Collection is complete except for the North American Arms and some of the more excure variants. But you have to pout you foot down some place so I just try and get a nice example of each one not so much that special variant.

    Cali gunner checking in

Hi everybody, new to here. North Cali native, so I have to do the 10 round mag limits, bullet buttons, and the featureless builds... One of these days I'll move to a free state... Until then

I mostly build my guns, started with the AKs and ARs, but quickly moved into everything else. Was into SMGs for a while, and did quite a few of a variety of those, then I got into battle rifles and did a few of those. My favorites are definately the belt-feds.

This year I've been stockpiling (hoarding) kits, current political climate here has lit a fire under me, and I'm on a mad dash to build as much as I can, before the rules change. Most recently I've been bitten by the LMG bug, I have several BRENs in the works and a DPM.

I still have LOTS to learn, and LOTS of room for improvement in my builds. So I'm hoping you guys can help out. This site looks great, and I can't wait to get a look around.

    Phill
