    Hello to all!

Been collecting for a dozen years or so. I love all things related to home front WWII. Have a number of things that go bang, including Garand, M1icon Carbine, and army .45. I restored a
    1943 Ford WWII jeep.

I collect all kinds of WWII ephemera, including surrender leaflets and propaganda, patriotic posters, language guides, and Armed Services Edition books. Sometimes I collect
collar brass. Looking to get rid of my WWII Germanicon stuff, if you want to trade, let me know.

Oh, and I write, when I can find the time, including articles about WWII history. Some of my articles can be found at wgleslie.com/writing

Salute everyone , Thank you for allowing me to join the group, I came on here to find out a little more about my Lee Enfield.
E.A.L 362 is the serial number I found on the left side of the rifle , I wanted to purchase a longer butt stock as this one is too short for my forearm and was wondering what model is was eg: MK 1 or 4 etc

M1 Carbine Owner looking for accessories

I am an M1icon Carbine owner whose grandfather bought mine for me in 1962 when they were first made available to the civilian market. Over the years, I have been collecting all the accessories I can afford and find. I am looking for an M8 Grenade launcher.

Hello, New Fella here. I cannot say I'm a collector, I generally buy what interests me. Excepting what I hunt with and what I used in my prior life as an LEO, LE Instructor and LE Armorer. I was fortunate enough to live in The United Kingdomicon for a few years in the early 1990's so I have a strong interest in 20th Century British arms with military and police relevance. While most of my firearms slant towards Teutonic sounding handgun makers, Armalite AR15's and FN shotguns I do have a couple of pieces I tell myself are collectibles, or at least interesting. I have a British surplus SLR which came from Century Arms (gasp) which functions, is accurate and is almost all matching. I want to replace the black pebble furniture with wood someday. It's taken me 16 years to get it this far though. I also have a DSA Stg58 with all matching Styer parts excepting the DSA receiver. Lastly I have on of the last Lee Enfields of the light blonde furniture circa 1955. Hasn't been fired since it left Fazakerley. I also have a couple Hi Powers, one of which I carry nowadays since the retirement Glock is a little thick and boxy for me. Occasionally I will do a little light work on a piece for someone I know for appearance improvement only as all of my Armorer certifications have expired. Other than that I receive most of my gun related frustration vicariously which is why I decided to join here. I'm afraid I don't have much expertise to offer anyone unless any of the above marks me out as "special". I will likely be asking some questions from time to time as I do have a Hi Power I want to clean up as well as battle on with the aforementioned SLR.

I'm not sure if I was supposed to write such a windy mess or not. Here it is anyway. Glad to be here!

    Hello to everybody

As a long time Swissicon arms collector as well as a former officer in the Swiss army, interested only in that small part of milsurp, I sometimes took a look at this forum, without thinking of joining. Now, it was the chance of being able to help another collector read the troop tag of a Swiss rifle which made me join.

    Greetings

Hi, I have owned a couple of Enfield Riflesicon and really have enjoyed having them. I have only the #4 now and would like to delve into info about the rifles history. Glad you allowed me to be a member. Steelmen
