A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hello to everyone on the milsurp forum, from the new guy on-line in the State of Washington.
I am a seeker; I bring very little Collector Experience to the forum.
I purchased an M1icon Garand from the CMPicon about a year and a half ago and I've been smiling ever since.
I have read and learned a lot here already, I'm sure that if I keep digging and find the Experienced M1 owners, I will learn even more.
My dad had a saying "You never fail until you refuse to get up."
    Take care all.

    new

Although I have registered with Milsurps for a while, this is my first post. This is a great forum for information. I am a fan of the Lee Enfield and the Ross rifle.

    Hello

New guy here. Registered earlier and just getting round to saying Hi. I'm interested in collecting WWII arms. Have M1s, M1 Carbines, 1911s, K98s, M48s, 1903, 1917, Mk 4, Lugers, P38, PPK, Dan Wessons 357 & 44. Looking for a Broomhandle and a M14icon. All of my weapons are shooters except for the 1859 Enfield pistol and the 1860 Tower rifle. Both of which I recently purchased in Afganistan and although they both look good I won't chance it. Live in Tampa and constantly fight the humidity.

    V/r,
    W5C

    New guy

Hello from the Nevada desert. I'm here to learn from the collective wisdom on this board. My main interest is the M1icon carbine, but that is subject to change at any moment. Thanks for having me.

    Hello all fellow milsurp fiends!

Hello all. Have just joined this forum, and look forward to some really great conversation regarding these wonderful pieces of history. This has been an invaluable source of info for me at times, so thought I would finally join in. So lets talk firearms!

Lightbulb 1st post; Central Ill-annoy nut, can't say "gun" in Ill-annoy

I've been here before and never posted. Usually seen on and around the CMPicon pages. Always learning. Looks like a lot more to learn here.
