I'm a new kid on the block. I don't know if I'm considered a collector or not but I've accumulated a few guns over the years thru the personal challenge of the shooting sports. I really enjoy Service Rifle matches with my AR15 and USPSA with a .45.

Dear Dan,

Noted your interest in Lee Enfields , I have a P14 .303 made by Winchester fitted with the Win A5 scope for WW1 sniping. I beleive the US Marine Corps used this configuration for the LE P17 in 30-06 circa 1915. I do not think they ever saw service as the British icon

Army stored them and issued them to the Home Guard in 1940. Have you seen any other American LEs in this configuration?
