    Self introduction Walther38

Hello to everybody on this forum.
I am not the owner of any kind of real waepon, especially firearms (of any kind real, display, demilled etc). I am just a gun's enthusiast from the point of view of modeller who has the idea to make real-looking, I should say model of existing in the past firearm. I am focussed on WWII famous firearms - pistols, revolvers, rifles, carbines, SMGs. My idea is to make as accurate as posible, even with tiny details, models from various materials except steel.
If possible to adapt them for Airsoft and reenacting purposes (I believe it is possible).
At present I am working on plans/detailed drawings of Stens as I have found that those already available concern not STEN but sten-like gun that uses some original parts.
Some results on assemble can be seen on attached picture.
I have found your site already as very interesting and valuable source from my point of view materials. I hope that maybe you will help me in my struggle with those tiny details, e.g. how the label on the ammo box for sten gun was looking like.

Checking in from Kings Mountain NC

    Hi all.

Just started in the world of Milsurps about a year ago and love it! Nothing like a military firearm.

I am especially interested in M1icon Carbines. I am not a b'mer type collector I just love the rifle and could car less how many different manufacturer parts are in mine as long as it is reliable and shoots straight

I am in Kings Mountain NC and would love to hear from others close by who might eventually like to start a local meet club regardless of what type milsurp rifles they are into.

Once again hello and I am glad to be here.

Just saying hello to all fellow forum'rs. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, experience and opinions. I've lurked on several other boards but look forward to participating here. Hope to improve the condition of my humble collection with sage advice and a few winter hours at the work bench.

Hello everyone, I just signed up to the website so this is my introduction. I have a civilian m1 carbine. It is a Plainfield PM 30 G. I have been researching it on the net. I have found that parts are scarce and not all military parts are compatable. So far I have two wooden and one vented metal hand grip that are a bit too short and a plastic recoil guard that I thought was metal. The price of the recoil screw was a surprise but it was larger than the bolt on the other end anyway. Maybe not too bright but I'm learning. Thats why I am here.

    Talking Greetings and salutations.....................

Just a yell to say hi......looking forward to being online more since the forced retirement. Current weapons: 1911's , ar-15 multi calibers , m1 garands , m1 carb , and various other dubious goodies. I am looking to sell my lot of m17a1 gas masks if you have interest drop a line. Love to shoot and spent many years in the weapons field.
