Howdy!
Fairly new to collecting, but not to guns. My only rule to myself is that the gun must be shootable or repairable. What I like the best is seeing the different ways that people went about making pretty much the same thing.

Hi, My name is Jeremy, I'm from New Zealand, and was refered to this site by an existing member. I collect militaria in general, including milsurp rifles, with an emphasis on WW2.

Have used Milsurps for info ,decided to join ,to contribute what I could.I have switched more to SS rifles,Martini,Ballards, Lowwalls and other odd SS. Still have some of my Milsurp goodies -03 ,03a4,p14 ,FAL,Mausers 98,1871,Gew +,Arisakas,including 7.7 never fired,My uncle a Lt. Col at the time was destoryiIng the Jap military weaponds and supplies.Under orders,after WW11 and Korea he stopped most anything to do with fire arms. I will put up in near future some stuff and parts. I have two Moisons of interest a Remington which has never been fired,no finish on Walnut stock and a Czarist model,both long barrel, was always looking for Russo-Jap model,my grandfather serviced in that conflict, which is why he left Polish-Russia for the States!I serviced in Viet Nam 67-68 as a Door Gunner 57thahc Hueys in the Highlands. Am always interested in fire arms, history and our right to keep arms. Belong to Hillsdale Conservation and Rifle clubs-started in mid 40'sVVA. Am legion,ASSRA and NRA.OK enough about me, hope to contribute. Stack

Just wanted to introduce myself. Just purchased my first MilSurp Battle Rifle and discovered this site while doing some basic research. Soon, I'll post the obligatory pics of my new to me, '03A3 and have a question already. The question is the "AAX" on the left side of the stock. I haven't seen any reference to this stamping.

This is one of those "It was meant to be" purchases. The seller had 3 additional barrels, still in original wrap and cosmoline. The meant to be? 2 barrels are my birth month/birth year . More details later.
