A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Milsurp Newbie

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself, I just started collecting military surplus rifles and wanted to join this forum to get more familiar with the different rifles that are available and recommendations for future purchases. I bought my first rifle a few months ago and was very happy with the purchase. It is a numbers matching Chinese SKS.

I have several other rifles that I would like to purchase in the future: Mosin Nagant M39, Mosin Nagant 91/30 (Fin or Russianicon), Swissicon K31, Mauser M96, Lee Enfield No.4 Mk I and the M1icon Garand. I have been waiting to receive my C & R license before I purchase any to avoid the cost and hazzle.

Does your members have any suggestions which one on the list I should go after, I have been looking at Empire Arm and he had an impressive list of M39 even some sneaks that I have missed out on waiting for my license.
