Hi Everyone. I'm still around and contribute once in a while. Been a member of CSP since the early days 1994 I think. Been a long time, but as Bodyman said we learned a lot from the early M1 collectors. I hope we can continue to learn about the M1 Garand. I still pick up tidbits now and than. I served in the US Army in the early 50's. I was with the 1st AD and we had the big gun 90mm. Only time I saw the Garand was in Fort Dix basic training. It came back to me in 1993 from the DCM as a 1944 Springfield. I still have that sucker along with many playmates.
I hope you enjoy the new CSP and the many friends you can make doing it.

Just registered. I have been competitive shooting for about 18 months. Started reloading about 12 months ago. I load 30.06, 308, 223. I'm now at the point of asking for some advice instead of just reading the posts on the old CSP site.

I have a pristine 03a3 that my father bought in the 40's I think. I began shooting high power with it, but now shoot my RRA A4. I also have a CMP Special from the first round, which I have been too busy to shoot. I could use some advice on lubrication.
