An advertisement in Guns and Ammo magazine has for the last several months advertised collector grade K98k icon

German Mausers for sale from Mitchell's Mausers. Has anyone had any experience with Mitchell ? or purchased one , Does anyone know if the rifles are renumbered and refinished, or are they really the genuine article ? Would appreciate any information.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. AND want to get screwed royaly when you buy one - buy it from the shysters at mitchels Mausers!!!
Renumbered parts, new made stocks, polished bolts(which the Germans Did Not do!) and refinished.
Their adds are just a half step short of fraudulant!!!
