A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hey Ax!

I am doing fine. The had me real busy and moving around alot for a few years. I am starting to hand over some of the field work to the youngsters now. Funny thing being 45, the newbies think your old and played out. I got to demonstrate the contrary to a young ladd yesterday. Placed the long shot first and was able to take a sip of coffee, before he squeezed off his round.

Sometimes a simple cup of coffee is a great training tool.

    All my best,

    Sights

I know the feeling. Couple of years ago was chasing a teenage burglary suspect at o'dark thirty in the morning. 55 and just cruising when I hear over the PD radio "Hey guys, Sarge is chasing the suspect.....AND HE CAUGHT HIM!"
    Youngsters got no respect!
