I can honestly say that I have never seen those specific marks before, who was the maker of the barrel?

    Hi Dan,
The barrel was made by Winchester dated 10-18. He has the eagleheads, ordnance bomb and a T on it.

    Regards,

    Gunner

Yes, it is a Canadianicon landlease with C Broad Arrow. Is this a proof mark ( pressure test) or so ?

I've seen the triangular mark on other M1917 Winchester barrels.

I don't think the C in a triangle in a circle is a Canadianicon mark. Why would the Canadians mark the barrel under the wood where the mark can't been seen?
